Pop superstar Louise returned with her 5th studio album ‘Confessions’ in 2025.The critically acclaimed record was hailed as ‘the pop album of the year’ when it hit the Top 10 of the official charts in the Summer as well as being made ‘Album of the Week’ by BBC Radio 2

The first single from the album, ‘Confession’ was a huge radio smash earlier this year being playlist across Radio 2 and major national and regional radio stations. 

Louise first found fame as a founding member of the multi-million selling R&B girl group Eternal, their 1993 debut album ‘Always & Forever’ made history as the first album by a girl group to sell over 1 Million units in the UK spawning hits such as Stay, Just A Step From Heaven and Oh Baby I…and bagging the girls 4 Brit awards nominations and a Top 10 single in America. 

Louise left the band in 1995 to pursue a hugely successful solo career. To date she  has had 18 top 20 singles (6 with Eternal and 12 Solo) with tracks such Naked, Arms Around The World, Let’s Go Round Again, 2 Faced and Light Of My Life all of these hits making her one of the most successful charting Female solo artists in the history of the official uk charts (joint 3rd). She has the most top 10 hits of any former British girl band member gone solo (9). 

Her debut solo album ‘Naked’ sold over 1 million copies and was certified platinum producing 5 top 10 hits, this was followed by the platinum selling follow up albums ‘Woman In Me’ and ‘Elbow Beach’ and 2 sold out nationwide tours including a sold out headline show at Wembley arena. 

In 2019 (Following her sold out Intimate and Live Tour in 2017/2018  which sold out in less than 10 minutes) after a break from recording music Louise solidified her return with a stream of critically acclaimed singles including ‘Stretch’ and ‘Lead Me On’, and the release of her first album in 16 years ‘Heavy Love’.

2021 saw Louise release her autobiography ‘You’ve Got This’ which became a Sunday Times Best seller

Kicking off 2023 with a stunning performance in BBC Radio 2’s Piano room which became the 3rd most watched session on BBC iPlayer that year Louise announced the  release her ‘Greatest Hits’ album, a record that celebrated an incredible 30 years of Louise releasing music, with 30 tracks spanning from 1993 to 2023. The night before the album was released Louise performed to a sold out crowd at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire for her ‘An Evening With Louise’ show, the night was a journey of live music and conversation taking fans on a journey from the beginning to present day.

Louise was one of the headliners at 2025’s BBC Radio 2 in the Park in Chelmsford in September, the 3rd single from Confessions ‘Only Dancer’ was the most played song across Radio 2 in August and was also named ‘Record Of The Week. She ended 2025 performing as one of the headliners at Magic FM’s Magic of Christmas at The London Palladium and saw in 2026 performing on BBC One’s Ronan Keating & Friends A New Years Eve Party. 

2026 sees Louise celebrate the 30th anniversary of her platinum selling debut solo album Naked.

Louise will also be taking part in national record store day 2026 releasing an exclusive limited edition extended edition vinyl of her 2025 Top 10 album ‘Confessions’.

Louise is currently the face of Peacocks Fashion and Nivea in the UK.
